Correct use of computer posture

Correct use of computer and mouse posture

Nowadays, the popularization of computers has brought us a lot of convenience, but unfortunately it has also brought pain to many people. Many of the patients who come to me for consultation are suffering from "computer syndrome" due to incorrect posture when using computers. "of. I ask them to be in the correct position when operating the computer after resetting, otherwise it will easily be misplaced again.

Some patients soon came to see a doctor again. When I asked them if they had adjusted their posture when using the computer, that is, the computer screen, the user, and the keyboard were in a straight line, most of them said that they had been adjusted, but after detailed inquiry. Next, I found that many patients simply do not understand what is the correct posture, so I will briefly explain it here.

When using a desktop computer:

  1. The computer display screen, the user, the necessary documents and the keyboard should be in a straight line,

  2. The height of the table and chair should be moderate:

When adjusting the height of the seat, note:

  1. When the fingers are placed on the keyboard, the elbows should be bent 90 degrees; when using the mouse, the upper arms of the hands should be vertical, and the elbows should be at a 90-degree angle;

  2. When sitting, the waist, hips and legs are at a 90-degree angle, and the person must sit upright;

  3. The knees are at a 90-degree angle, the feet can be easily flat on the ground or on the mat, and there should be enough space under the table for the feet to stretch.

  4. The distance between the computer screen and the user is about an arm's length, and the top of the screen should be slightly lower than the user's eye level;

  5. After about thirty to forty-five minutes of using the computer, stand up and do some stretching.

In addition to correct posture when using the computer, doing more stretching exercises in spare time can strengthen the muscles and bones and help reduce the occurrence of misalignment. In addition, the design of the laptop is convenient for users to use anytime, anywhere, but it is not suitable for long-term use.
